We’re proud to be a part of this year’s Capitol Classic Kids Race, June 4th at 10am in downtown Boise.
The Capitol Classic Kids Race is open to kids ages 6 to 14, of ALL abilities. The one-mile course starts at the Historic Boise Train Depot and ends at the State Capitol with a Finish Fair in Cecil D. Andrus Park. Everyone is a winner and receives a medal and t-shirt.
We are excited to announce that the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and Saint Alphonsus have teamed up to bring back this beloved event. These organizations’ missions are closely aligned and they are eager to work together to improve the health of our community – especially our youth! We at Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle couldn’t agree more and are proud to support causes like this for both our community, and the organizations making a difference within it.
Proceeds from the Capitol Classic will benefit YMCA’s Child Development Programs. YMCA Early Childhood Development programs are committed to providing an environment where children feel safe and are encouraged to explore and learn. These programs provide opportunities, experiences, and relationships to stimulate a young child’s physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development.
