Dr. Burk performed a three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Indiana. During this time, he frequently worked with the athletic department at the University of Notre Dame and rotated at the University of Iowa’s Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic.

Dr. Hooker enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery including sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, trauma and wound care. He completed a three-year Podiatric medical and surgical residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona and was trained at a Level 1 Trauma Center and the nationally-renowned Arizona Burn Center.
As Practice Manager Amanda leads our team of dedicated staff and is responsible for the day to day operational management of Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle. Joining the team in 2015 and moving her way up through different positions has given her the opportunity to work directly with patients, and understand their needs and concerns. She enjoys patient care and her primary goal is to make sure that we provide exceptional care to all of our patients. Amanda enjoys the day-to-day challenges the role brings and strives to make Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle the very best it can be! Away from the practice Amanda enjoys movies, being crafty, and spending time with family and friends.
Alise is our office assistant. She keeps our office organized and running smoothly. She is fun to be around and is very responsible and dependable. After moving to Idaho, she joined Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle after dealing with ankle injuries herself for years. She wants to help others that are in the same situation. Alise loves interacting with patients and hearing their stories. She is always willing to listen and make sure our patients feel welcome in our clinic. Alise is most passionate about helping the patients. She likes going home from work feeling like she helped someone feel even just a little better.
Alise has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English, and an Associate’s of Arts in English from Southeast Missouri State University and Lincoln Land Community College. She has even been published for some of her academic writings. Alise grew up in Chatham, IL and enjoys reading, hiking, running, watching movies, eating, and ballroom dancing. She has a knack for numbers and Microsoft Word. When she’s not working, she is either reading on the couch or going for a hike if the weather allows. However, she loves binge-watching Netflix too! She is always on the lookout for new books to read, so please give her some recommendations when you come to the clinic!
Nikki is our billing manager. She graduated from Anthem College with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Billing and Coding She recently became CPC Certified by the AAPC. She’s very excited to have earned her coding certificate. Nikki has spent the last 6 years in Dermatology where she worked as a lead receptionist and assisted in billing part time. She loves working with patients and cares very much about making their experiences at our office as positive as possible.
Nikki has lived in the Treasure Valley for 10 years. Originally from Southeast Idaho, then having spent 10 years in the Nevada desert, she really enjoys this area. She enjoys exploring with her family as they camp and fish. Besides being outdoors, Nikki also enjoys painting, crocheting, doing nails, and decorating cakes in her spare time.

Kishi enjoys helping our patients, and has a knack for looking outside the box. What she likes most about working at Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle are her friendly and welcoming co-workers. She said, “they are not only friendly and welcoming to me, but to every patient, friend, or delivery person that walks through our doors. It is very rewarding to work where people truly care.”
Professionally, Kishi is known for being way too early, being able to multi-task, and wanting to learn more. She always gives her best and loves learning new things.
Kishi has worked in the medical field for a little under 2 years. She is a licensed cosmetologist and is certified in phlebotomy. Kishi grew up in the Ontario/Fruitland area and attended the College of Western Idaho, Treasure Valley Academy of Beauty, and Fruitland High School.
When not at work, you can find Kishi spending time with family and friends, face-timing her best friend, attending a concert, or just at home having a lazy day with her husband and son. She loves dancing, mountain biking, running, laughing, and surprisingly LOVES doing laundry! Kishi is very family-oriented and wants to be remembered as a good and loving wife and mother, a genuine person who is honest, kind, and happy.
Front Office Coordinator
Sara is the best at solving any issues our patients face. She loves answering questions to the best of her knowledge and enjoys helping provide the most enjoyable experience possible for our patients. Patients often comment that Sara is always smiling. Professionally, she is most passionate about helping patients and making them smile. She can’t believe how much she learns every day at Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle. She enjoys working here because of the fun work environment. She said, “Everyone is very helpful.”Sara grew up in Wilder, Idaho and graduated from Milan Institute and El Cajon Valley High School. When she is not working, Sara is usually home with her girls. She enjoys playing softball or watching movies. Some of her interests include playing volleyball, dancing, and staying active. She participates in the Relay for Life and her favorite non-profit is the American Cancer Society.
We are happy Charlotte has joined the Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle staff. She helps our patients as a medical assistant and sometimes fills in at the front desk. Charlotte loves helping people and enjoys hearing about her patients’ lives and family. Her work ethic and positive attitude add so much to the office. Charlotte is very personable and enjoys working at RMFA because she loves helping people and because of our family-friendly schedule.
Charlotte was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in Heber, Arizona. She loves reading and watching the NBA (especially the Spurs). Her family loves to volunteer, particularly around the holidays with handing out turkeys or preparing hot meals. Her favorite way to spend a weekend is with her kids. Some activities Charlotte likes include hunting, fishing, and biking the Boise greenbelt. Coffee is the one thing that would be impossible for Charlotte to give up. She wants to be remembered as a good wife and mother who always did her best.
We are so pleased Laura is a Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle medical assistant. She really enjoys the friendly staff and doctors at RMFA. Laura also loves interacting with patients and learning new things each day. She is particularly fascinated with surgical procedures, and enjoys assisting in any surgical procedure on the feet. She agrees that learning by experience is one of lives greatest teachers. Laura always has a smile and is happy and friendly.
Laura is working on her Associates degree at the College of Western Idaho. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and when she’s not at the office likes spending time with her family and kids. Her favorite thing to do is waterski.
Although Cathy is not always at our office, she promotes Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle through marketing and public relations. She updates the website, social media sites, and printed materials. She also delivers treats to local family doctor offices. She enjoys that her job is flexible and loves how accommodating and friendly the staff and doctors are.
Cathy has worked in marketing/public relations for over 10 years and received her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Brigham Young University. She grew up in Meridian and graduated from Meridian High School. Since she is the fifth of seven children, she lived in the same home from kindergarten to her senior year of high school. She enjoys traveling and backpacked Europe with her sister. She has lived in New York City for a public relations internship and Australia during a LDS mission. Her favorite past-times are: water-skiing, white-water rafting, reading, and spending time with her family.
